Catch Up

i have been incredibly slack on the blogging front lately, life has been so hectic but mostly in good ways. i have 5 rolls of film waiting to be developed and i've been taking a lot of photos with my instax mini & wide cameras. there above are all from my birthday and the below are from a from a picnic i had with friends, a few from around my bedroom and at friend's places, halloween this year where i dressed up as dorothy from the wizard of oz, and a whole bunch from hotel street which was a sailor jerry themed pop-up bar with a barber's chair and bands on four nights a week. it was only around for two glorious months but i have so many warm memories from it. the one just below is my friend's band on the night they played.

  2. Happy belated birthday ahah! You look so pretty in that photo with the cake, blowing the candles :) Love the red cardigan, reminds me of the one by Wheels & Dollbaby...? Anyway, you've made the best out of Dorothy Gale and I can tell you had some serious fun! Who's the bobbed hair friend? She's hot!
Anyway... I have a confession to make: that food in my last post you've just commented it wasn't breakfast (I wake up to late for that ahah!), in fact I was eating all that at midnight... yes, midnight :X Gluttony kills me. It still looks like breakfast though, it's the prettiest meal of the day :D hugs and kisses xx

  14. These instax photos are amazing. You're really good with film! I shy away from film photography as I just got so happy never having to shoot on film again when I got my first digital camera, haha. I also was very terrible at it and always forgot to get my films developed. Though, the more film photography I see, the more I learn to re-appreciate it :) x

    1. thank you! :) i think the more people get into photography the more appreciation they tend to develop for film because it's a lot more difficult to get the shot you want on film than if you take it 20 or 30 times over with a DSLR and then delete the ones you don't like. x

    1. ah, you should definitely use it more! the film isn't super cheap but it's so worth it, and i definitely prefer the bigger photos over my instax mini.

  22. Being busy is a good thing! But whenever I am, I always begin to feel guilty when it is reflected in my lack of posts on my own blog, but I think it is much more important to be present with the people and loved ones around you in the end! Love the pictures you shared, you are honestly the most precious thing ever. Happy birthday pretty lady, and i love the pictures as always!

    1. aww you are too sweet! ^_^ but i totally agree, as much as i enjoy blogging i realise i'm probably better off living life and going out with friends than i am not taking those opportunities so i can stay at home and blog because if i did that too much i wouldn't have anything to blog about!

  26. This blog post didn't show up on my Bloglovin' feed for some reason! I've really missed you blogging, but understandably, life gets in the way. Sometimes for the best though as it seems like you've been having lots of lovely little adventures! I love that pug street art, so neat! And your Dorothy outfit is super cute. I just sold my Polaroid 600 camera, but I really want to buy an Instax mini as it'll probably be easier to take out and about.
